Maple Bacon Veggie Kebabs
A delicious sweet bacon flavoured oil transforms these veggie kebabs into a fabulous BBQ staple.

Serves 6

You will need
1 courgette cut into 1cm rounds
12 mushrooms
6 cherry tomatoes
2 red onions cut into chunks
1 yellow pepper cut into squares
6 heaped teaspoons of Herby Hog Maple Bacon & Black Pepper flavoured seasoning
6 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
6 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning

Preparation
Preheat the barbecue for medium heat if using a gas barbecue.
Thread the vegetables alternately onto the skewers.
Mix the oil, garlic and seasoning in a bowl and then generously brush over the skewers
Brush the cooking grate with oil and place the kebabs on the barbecue.
Baste frequently with the oil mixture.
Cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until the courgettes are tender and thoroughly cooked.
