Smoky Tomato & Garlic Dip

Fantastically smoky but not spicy, great with an aperitif!

Serves 4

You will need

1 slice of rustic bread (sourdough, ciabatta or French baguette)

200g very ripe tomatoes

medium garlic clove, crushed

1 tbsp red wine vinegar

25ml extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp Herby Hog BBQ Pork flavour seasoning

Crudités to serve (celery, carrot sticks, red pepper strips, sugar snap peas)

Preparation

  1. Griddle the bread on for a minute on both sides until lightly charred.
  2. Tear up and put into a food processor.
  3. Add all the remaining ingredients and blitz until smooth
  4. Chill for 30 minutes before serving with the crudités.
